WA revisited

Hi All

Were are back in WA for this instalment.

I make no apologies for sharing too many pics of my grandson…after all he is damn cute.

We had a great time getting to know the little mister…he is now almost 2 and a bundle of energy.

A highlight of the trip was a Fathers’ Day outing to Rottnest Island. It was the best weather we had for the 10 day trip…almost dead calm. Perfect for bike riding and also for getting the drone airborne. Having not ridden a bike for quite some time I opted for an electrically assisted version and it proved to be a wise decision. I should also have opted for a gel seat cushion…my boney butt felt every bump :)

I could have quite easily spent a couple of days exploring the unusual landscapes. As it was, I “wandered off in the zone” a couple of times and had to track down the rest of the group after getting a few shots. It is a hazard of travelling with non-photographers…they just don’t get it. I hate leaving shots behind because I have run out of time.
