GWP blogspot

This blog is going to be a mix of what I'm up to now, a look back at some of my past favourites, maybe some equipment and technical stuff and whatever else you would like to see...but primarily with a photographic theme.

How long is a piece of...?

Hi All

This one is totally non-photography related.

My wife Michelle is a self-confessed crazy cat lady…they are her fur babies. So any project that enhances their existence keeps me in the good books :)

It proved to be the challenge I expected it to be…but the girls love it.

How much rope will you need?

My pole was 90mmx90mm…so one wrap used 360mm (90+90+90+90=360).

The length of the pole was 2.7m.

The rope is 10mm thick. So, to work out how many wraps will cover the pole…2700mm divided by 10 = 270

270 x 360 = 97200 (or 97.2 metres). I bought a 100m roll.
