This blog is going to be a mix of what I'm up to now, a look back at some of my past favourites, maybe some equipment and technical stuff and whatever else you would like to see...but primarily with a photographic theme.

What a surprise...not!

Hi All

Well guess what?…The cheque didn’t arrive and neither did the sting. (If you are wondering what the hell I am talking about…you obviously didn’t read my last blog). It all just fizzled out. I’m thinking that maybe ‘Beryl’ read my blog and realised her plan was busted. I did get an email the day before her ‘birthday’ requesting I still come…which I duly ignored (there was no panicked call asking where I was on the day). Let’s hope it is the last I hear of ‘Beryl’.

Congratulations to everyone out at Shark Park (my old club) for an absolutely stellar season. The senior side not only went the whole season undefeated, but won every game…21 in a row! Awesome effort. I finally got the chance to go to a game (the last of the season) and took a few frames.

Isn’t it a pain in the proverbial when things start going wrong, especially with technology. And it always feels like these things talk to each other and decide to all go on the fritz together. Recently I have had issues with my phone, my laptop and my iMac…nothing catastrophic…but downright annoying. You just want things to do what they are supposed to!

Oh, and I forgot to mention my car. Again, nothing catastrophic…just the reversing camera not functioning correctly. It was something I identified during my test drive, but it got progressively worse. The dealership were fine and agreed to fix it…no biggy…just replace the camera. They organised a loan vehicle and took mine away. Thinking it was only going to be away for a couple of days, I only removed the essentials (silly me…of course I’m going to need everything that is in it). Black Betty has now been at the doctors for almost 2 weeks and they still haven’t been able to fix the problem! I’m seriously missing the extra space…the whole reason I bought her in the first place.

On a more positive note. We have a new family member… Bob the Budgie. Bob is with us after being rescued in the grounds of Michelle’s school, being harassed by the local magpies. He is coming to work with me in the office/studio each day (we don’t trust that the cats wont try to ‘play’ with him if left to their own devices). Maybe eventually, he will be tame enough to not need to be caged while with me…that would be cool.

Ok, I think I’ll leave it there.

Be nice to each other…catch you next time.
