GWP blogspot

This blog is going to be a mix of what I'm up to now, a look back at some of my past favourites, maybe some equipment and technical stuff and whatever else you would like to see...but primarily with a photographic theme.

One step at a time

Hi all…welcome back.

In what seems like a blink of an eye, another month has disappeared.

Progress has been made on the pergola (the roof is on) and we christened it with a firepot, barbie and a few brews. The next step is to timber deck over the old concrete, but that has to wait until the house is cleared of the dreaded ‘C’. Yes, ‘Rona’ poked its unwanted head in…fortunately no-one became particularly ill and they are all on the road to recovery. Pics to come in the next blog…I promise.

I have been keeping myself busy with a bit of landscaping. I have removed an old set of timber steps (that were quite steep and challenging for the little ones) and replaced them with a much more user-friendly, meandering, stepped path.

I also managed to sneak in a slide for the grandkids.

There has been a bit of variety on the work front.

I shot a surprise wedding at Cradle Mountain. ‘Surprise’ you may ask. Yes a surprise…I stepped in to help out a colleague who had to pull out (again, due to Covid). Very last minute…but a lovely couple and family.

I had a shoot for the NDIS annual report…a great guy (Joel) who works in the market garden at Multicap. He is a bit of a super star and is likely to feature on the cover.

One of my regular clients has requested some video work, so that has been keeping me busy as well.

I’ve also recently done a shoot for the Financial Review…but I can’t show you anything from that one yet as they haven’t been published.

Things have been ticking over nicely in the ‘Ole Bugger Brewery’ with some quite nice beers coming out…even if I do say so myself :)

So now I think I have you up to date…

until next time…Cheers!
