Back in July I mentioned a project I had been asked to take part in, a collaboration with Victorian artist Anzara Clark. GWP blogspot July 4

Well, Anzara has made good use of the images and produced a book, A part of me goes with you. The book is dedicated to the memory of her grandson Cody and examines the journey of grief over the passage of time. The words and sentiments are beautiful…and I found it a little spooky how well the images marry with the text (given the first time I saw the words was when I received a copy of the book).

A percentage of the proceeds from the book is going to supporting stillbirth projects and the families of stillborn children.

The garment is still undergoing its final journey…very slowly decomposing in my garden (it has survived a Tasmanian Autumn, Winter, Spring and part of what they loosely call Summer in these parts) and I am recording its demise. I’m not sure what Anzara has planned for the images…but I’m sure they will be put to good use.

I have another book underway…a gift for our hosts on an upcoming trip to Japan…I’ll keep you posted on that one…and the actual trip once it gets a bit closer.
