Kids are cool

Hi All

Just putting it out there…I like shooting kids.

 I’ve been doing it for years.

My wife keeps telling me I have a rapport with them…they like me. I usually shake my head and put her comments to one side.

Call me slow…call her clever…but in the last few months I’ve done a run of jobs involving kids and the results have been pretty good.

I’ve really liked some of the moments I have captured of my granddaughter Gabriella, over the years, but have sort of dismissed them as something expected because of our relationship. But, if I can get similar results from a little person I have only just met…bonus!

I think I like shooting the young ones best…capturing spontaneous moments…the innocence and clarity in their eyes.

We are heading to Western Australia soon to catch up with my son, his partner and my grandson, so there are guaranteed to be lots of photo opportunities. And I'm about to become a grandparent again...looking forward to having another little person in my sights. I will try not to baby spam you...but I can't promise anything.
